Bridge to Beyond

During the day, this bridge over little Smith Creek provides passage between Tokeland and Raymond on Washington’s southern coastline.  At night, it takes on a new role, leading us straight up a starry path to the heavens. 

What if I take that path, follow that portal into the celestial?  Will I gain the wisdom of the ages?  Will I dance with stars to a cosmic orchestra?   Will I discover myself and my place within this vast universe?  And as the moon sets and daybreak arrives, will I slide back down that starry path to resume my place on earth with a profound new understanding?  Do I dare?
