Remnants
These rocky formations are all that is left of a once broad swath of land that reached far into what is now the bay. The waves have disintegrated the rest of the land, pulling it into their briny depths. Watching the water snake around these rocks, I wonder why they, alone, have survived and how long it will be before they yield to the power of the sea.
